Sam Kinrade

Originally from the Isle of Man, Sam Kinrade now lives in Banbury and enjoys a varied freelance career as a trumpet player and educator. He regularly performs with some of the UK’s leading symphony orchestras and has worked with numerous leading chamber ensembles including WorldBrass in Germany, KammarensembleN in Sweden, and Quintabile Brass Ensemble in the UK with whom he is a founding member.
Most recently Sam has made his debut with the Aurora Orchestra at the BBC Proms and has been recording for the Mercury-prize nominee Little Simz at Abbey Road Studios.
As an educator Sam works closely with the London Symphony Orchestra’s Discovery team and has tutored on prestigious residential courses such as the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra and the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain.
