Rory has released 2 albums with his trio Monocled Man, 3 albums and one EP with his large ensemble Fringe Magnetic and 2 albums with Anglo-Norwegian band Eyes Of A Blue Dog. He has been featured on Jazz on 3, been commissioned by BBC Late Junction, Cheltenham International Jazz Festival, and the Institute Of Education; and also remixed tracks for Jamie Cullum, Nostalgia 77 and Troyka.

Rory has co-written, produced and collaborated with various artists across the worlds of electronic music, dance music, contemporary classical, jazz and pop. He has also arranged and orchestrated for symphony orchestra, big band and string ensemble, including music for TV, feature film and brand.

Rory was recently appointed Composer-in-Residence’ for The Ensemble of the Golden Bough and contributed the composition ‘Lowlands’ to their most recent album. The piece, composed for trumpet trio, is based on a folk song recorded by Percy Grainger in 1906 on his ‘Ethnographic Wax Cylinders’; it is now held in a collection at the The British Library.
